Morzine is as lively in Summer as it is in Winter, and a lovely setting for a holiday in the French Alps.  Morzine offers a huge range of outdoor sporting activites for all ages and abilities - including kayaking, white-water rafting, climbing, bouldering and canyoning, para-gliding, and of course mountain-biking and cycling.

Morzine is the largest mountain biking centre in France, with terrain for all abilities including complete beginners, and is a regular host to the Tour de France. In the early evening the skies are full of parapentes soaring over the mountains, lakes and villages.

The chair lifts remain open to give access for biking and walking or to while away an afternoon at the many mountain restaurants or swim in the clear lakes.

Lake Geneva (Lac Leman), Annecy, Samoëns and other towns and villages are well worth a day to visit.
